Our tailored support includes:

Note: The NDIS does not fund costs for rent, board, transport, or daily expenses such as food and activities.
Medium-Term Accommodation (MTA)
MTA provides a temporary housing solution while you wait for a confirmed long-term option. Prime Ability offers MTA for stays up to three months, ensuring you have a safe and supportive place to stay.
MTA may be helpful if you are:
- Waiting for home modifications to be completed
- Awaiting delivery of assistive technology
- Transitioning to a new or confirmed SDA
- Leaving the hospital or aged care
- Experiencing a breakdown of supports and cannot remain in your current home
Note: MTA covers accommodation costs only. Other expenses like food, phone, and utilities remain your responsibility.
Short-Term Accommodation (STA) / Respite
Our Short-Term Accommodation services are designed for individuals needing urgent or temporary housing. You’ll have the opportunity to meet new people, try new experiences, and enjoy a safe, supportive environment tailored to your preferences.
What’s included in STA:
- Nutritious meal planning and cooking
- Personal care, such as showering and dressing
- Medication management
- Access to enjoyable activities and community participation
Note: NDIS funding allows up to 28 days a year for STA, so you can choose overnight stays, weekends, or longer periods based on your needs.
